Student Projects

Within the EMPANADA project there are several opportunities to find a student project (graduation or internship).

The projects can be performed within the SAN group of the faculty or at a company.

Here is a list of available topics:

  • Analyzing the relationship between characteristics of UML designs and process and project data (bug-reports, development effort…)
  • Developing techniques for checking design-conventions of UML designs. Think how coding-conventions for programming levels can be extended to the level of UML designs.
  • Empirical Research on Software Design: How (big, fast, faulty, … ) is software design in practice?
  • Visualisatie van inconsistenties in software
  • Implementing a the MetricView Evolution tool into a configuration management system at an industrial site to study the evolution of UML models and to discover trends.

Besides the aforementiond topics, it is possible to define a different topic in the area of EmpAnADa that matches your interest.
