I will speak about recent activity intialized by a remarkable result by
S.Sakuma and aimed in aximomatizing a 196,884-dimensional algebra having the 
Monster group as its full automorphism group. This is a joint project and every 
particular task is the classification of the so-called Majorana representations 
of a given finite group. I am planning to present a review of the current 
status of this activity.
