Cryptography 2 is divided into two parts:
  1. Lectures 1-7 covering Cryptographic Protocols (concluded with a written exam 2XC13/2WC17)

Lecture 1February 2. Homework: study Preface, Sections 1.1-2, 2.1.1. Exercises 1.12, 1.13(i-iii), 1.15, 1.16, 2.1; bonus: 1.13(iv), 1.18. Hand in before February 9, 13.45h.
Lecture 2February 9. Homework: study Sections 1.3.1-3, 2.1.2. Exercises 1.31, 1.33(b,d,e,f,h), 2.4; bonus: 1.32(a), 1.34. Hand in before March 2, 13.45h.
Lecture 3March 2. Homework: study Sections 1.3.4, 2.1.3-4, 2.2, 3. Exercises 1.39, 2.5, 2.7, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4; bonus: 3.5. Hand in before March 9, 13.45h.
Lecture 4March 9. Homework: study Sections 4.1-4, 4.5.1-2, 4.6.1, 5.1. Exercises 2.3, 4.2, 5.17(a), 5.18; bonus: 5.4. Hand in before March 16, 13.45h.
Lecture 5March 16. Homework: study Sections 4.5.3, 4.6, 5.2-3. Exercises: 5.9, 5.10, 5.16, 5.17(d); bonus: 5.17(i). Hand in before March 23, 13.45h.
Lecture 6March 23. Homework: study Sections 5.4, 6.1-2. Exercises: 5.17(f,k), 5.25, 6.2; bonus: 5.19(a). Hand in before March 30, 13.45h.
Lecture 7March 30. Homework: study Sections 6.3, 7, 8. Recommended exercises: 5.28(i-ii), 6.5, 7.1, 7.2.
Bonus exercises may be skipped when practicing for the exam.
Written exam is about all topics covered in the lecture notes, except for:

Written (partial) exam 2XC13/2WC17: Thursday April 16, 2015, 13.30-16.30h; resit: Thursday June 25, 2015, 13.30-16.30h.
