Time and place
The seminar is held on Wednesday afternoons
  • (rarely:) Very first hour 13:40- 14:30 hrs.
  • First hour 14:40 - 15:30 hrs.
  • Break 15:30 - 15:40 hrs.
  • Second hour 15:40 - 16:30 hrs.
Place: Eindhoven University of Technology, usually MetaForum 11/12 (lecture room on the fourth floor of the MetaForum (MF) building)

Intent
In the seminar participants communicate results on Discrete Mathematics.

There are different formats:
  • (A) Advanced seminar. These seminars are lectures on a research topic, primarily of interest to those acquainted with the specific field indicated in the title and/or abstract.
  • (B) A Bachelors seminar. A Bachelor student will give a presentation of his Bachelor research project.
  • (G) General purpose seminar. These seminars are intended for a large audience. They are of an introductory nature, and recommended for everyone who is interested in discrete mathematics.
  • (M) A Masters seminar. A Masters student will give a presentation of his final research project.
  • (P) A PhD seminar. In the first hour a (PhD) student will give a presentation. The second hour will then be used for discussion on the topic.
  • (T) Study of a text book
